Bible Questions - Questions about Religion and Tough Bible Questions

Tough Bible Questions

The popular belief is that skeptics, critics, or critical thinkers, are people who don't believe the bible. In reality, the common usage of the word skeptical supports this: "He was skeptical of the belief system or his beliefs," meaning he doubted something that was said or misinterpreted something that was read. To be skeptical, therefore, is to be critical about things pertaining to the Bible or spiritual matters.

Questions about Christianity

Tough questions about life and difficult Bible questions are often answered by skeptics. Why, you may ask? Because skeptics often find the answers to tough Bible Questions. Lee Strobel author of "Case for Christ", was once an atheist before writing his best selling book about the evidence of Christ.

Skeptics Tough Bible Questions

The real meaning of the word skepticism has nothing to do with doubt, disbelief, or negativity. Skepticism is the process of applying reason and critical thinking to determine the value, credibility, and validity of the subject matter in question. It's the process of finding factual data, logical understanding to support a narrative, conclusion, or agenda.

It's thus inaccurate to say "Skeptics don't believe in God." Some may, some may desire to, and some may not. Many skeptics desire a relationship with God, but can't understand the fallen world we live in. Some are deeply caring and are not satisfied with the information provided to understand the ways of God and spiritual matters.

They are trying to reason, understand and relate the physical world with a Divine God. The process could be and is often a pathway to a deep connection with Jesus Christ, the Messiah, The Anointed One. Skeptics apply critical thinking to different aspects of their lives in their own individual ways.

Often, if you allow them they will find the data to support and increase their faith based on logic and critical thinking. They can be the ones that find evidence of God. Everyone is a skeptic, but some find answers.

Matthew 7

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Questions about Christianity - Skepticism

Chrisitan Skepticism is can be a powerful starting place to increase one's faith and validate the belief in God and the credibility of biblical teaching. Skepticism can be a doorway. Skepticism, when met with truth, can change many lives.

If you have questions about the Bible and tough spiritual questions about life, the Bible is the best place to start. The Bible is a roadmap to living a prosperous life, navigating the complexities, overcoming the trials and living a life of purpose.

Many have questions about spirituality. Or more specifically, what is spirituality?

Just as energy transmits on a variety of frequencies, and data can travel through radio waves that our eyes cannot see until it decodes across a computer screen, the spirit realm is equally as real, whether we acknowledge it or not.

Spirituality in general is an acknowledgment of a spiritual world. Without any structure, however, it is typically void of any standard belief system. Typically people who identify themselves as spiritual have created their own dogma or religion based on how they live their lives. There is no standard, as the standard tends to change as the individual changes his or her feelings.

A spiritual foundation is the building block of a whole person, but it's important to have a spiritual structure based upon an identified belief system that does not change according to emotion or whim. When the mind lacks insight and creativity, when the body is without strength it is your spiritual self that sustains everything. But that strength must come from a solid belief system that can bring correction and guidance when you need it. The spiritual self is a never-ending well because the source is not you but God, Jesus the Anointed, Yeshua Messiah!

What is Religion and how is it different than spirituality?

Religion may be defined as a cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, morals, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, or spiritual elements.

However, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion. Religion could in fact be how you go about your day. Religion is typically used in a spiritual belief system context, but that is not an accurate use of the word.
